Naturopathy Schools

In the USA, expenditure on complementary or alternative medicine now stands at 2.7 billion dollars per year. Naturopathy (or nature cure) is one of the oldest form of alternative medicine. Long recognized in other cultures, most people in the US now recognize the validity of naturopathy and the importance of nutrition in preventing disease, improving well-being and reducing stress. Naturopathy programs start from diploma level. Any training at naturopathy schools should cover the four basic principles of naturopathic medicine:

  • Everybody has the power to heal himself
  • You must treat both the causes and the symptoms of a disease
  • The patient must be treated as a whole - not just in part
